Pacific Undersea Gardens
One of the most unique places you will ever go to is the Pacific Undersea Gardens located just off Belleville Street in Victoria. It is an underwater experience like no other.
After you descend 5 meters below the Pacific Ocean, you will be able to get a glance at marine life in their natural habitat. There are many windows that allow you to see the more than 5000 animals of different species that live here.
By looking out the windows, you can see Rock Cod, Red Snapper, Schools of 1000’s of Pacific Salmon, Wolf eel and the Largest species of Octopus in the World. There is also a small tidal pond where you can even touch starfish, coral and more.
Once you are finished peering out these windows you can go to the theater to learn about marine life by an underwater diver. This lasts about 20 minutes and is a very interesting show.
Pacific Undersea Gardens also has a gift shop with many things such as toys, souvenirs, clothing and more. To top it all off, the rates are very reasonable, less than $10 for an adult and it is open 7 days a week. This is definitely a great place for the whole family to have fun.
